AWARDS: 11th International Harp Contest Suoni D’Arpa e Anteprima / News 2023

Si è conclusa positivamente anche quest’anno l’undicesima edizione di Suoni D’Arpa; siamo molto soddisfatti per il clima di amicizia e condivisione, per la partecipazione di un pubblico entusiasta, sia ai concerti che alle audizioni, per l’altissimo livello dei concorrenti provenienti da 16 paesi diversi, per la presenza di compositori e di insegnanti di diverse Scuole di arpa.

The eleventh edition of Suoni D’Arpa ended positively also this year; we are very satisfied for the atmosphere of friendship and sharing, for the participation of an enthusiastic audience, both at the concerts and at the auditions, for the very high level of the competitors from 16 different countries, for the presence of composers and teachers from different harp Schools.

La divisione in tre stages della categoria di solisti senza limiti di età, ha funzionato perfettamente, mantenendo viva la tensione fino alla serata finale in forma di concerto con il pubblico.

The division into three stages of the category of soloists with no age limit worked perfectly, keeping the tension alive until the final evening in the form of a concert with the public.

Una felice sorpresa la nostra nuova proposta di lasciare libera la scelta del repertorio italiano o con soggetto italiano, grazie alla quale abbiamo ascoltato ottime esecuzioni di brani di Caramiello, Corelli, Donizetti-Zabel, Godefroid, Liszt, Mortari, Parish-Alvars, Pescetti, Platti, Rossini-Bochsa, Respighi, Rota, Schubert-Zamara, Sciarrino,Tedeschi.

A rewarding surprise our new proposal to leave free the choice of the Italian repertoire or with an Italian subject, thanks to which we have listened to excellent performances of pieces by Caramiello, Corelli, Donizetti-Zabel, Godefroid, Liszt, Mortari, Parish-Alvars, Pescetti, Platti, Rossini-Bochsa, Respighi, Rota, Schubert-Zamara, Sciarrino,Tedeschi.

Molto varia anche la scelta delle Sonate di Domenico Scarlatti presentate nel primo stage: K.14, K.27, K.113, K.198, K.209,K.213, K.239, K.466, K.513, K.531.

The choice of Domenico Scarlatti’s Sonatas presented in the first stage has been also very varied: K.14, K.27, K.113, K.198, K.209,K.213, K.239, K.466, K.513, K.531.

La prossima edizione del concorso, che avrà luogo dal 29 agosto al 3 settembre 2023, richiederà un programma analogo nella cat.C e la divisione per età sarà la stessa per le quattro categorie.

The next edition of the competition, which will take place from 29 August to 3 September 2023, will require a similar program in category C and the age division will be the same for the four categories.

Speriamo di ricevere una maggiore partecipazione nella categoria B (limite di età 20 anni) per la quale proporremo, oltre al programma libero, un brano a scelta tra composizioni italiane pubblicate dall’autorevole casa editrice UtOrpheus.

We hope to receive more participation in category B (age limit 20 years) for which we will propose, in addition to the free program, a piece chosen from Italian compositions published by the authoritative UtOrpheus.
