Nella Natura tutto canta, tutto vibra; ogni essere emette delle vibrazioni che si propagano in onde musicali. Ecco perché si può dire che nella Natura tutto è Musica. Vi è Musica nei ruscelli che scorrono, nelle sorgenti che zampillano, nella pioggia che cade, nel fragore dei torrenti, nel movimento ininterrotto degli oceani e dei mari. Vi è Musica nel respiro del vento, nel fruscio delle foglie, nel cinguettio degli uccelli…. La Musica della Natura risveglia costantemente il senso musicale nell’uomo e lo incita a esprimersi con uno strumento, o con il canto. È per mezzo della Musica che l’uomo trasmette spontaneamente i suoi sentimenti e le sue sensazioni, è tramite la Musica che egli esprime il suo sentimento religioso ed è ancora tramite la Musica che egli esprime i suoi dolori, le sue gioie, il suo amore e tutte le sue esperienze più profonde. La Musica è il respiro dell’anima e della coscienza. È attraverso la Musica che l’anima si manifesta sulla terra. Quando la coscienza superiore si risveglierà nell’uomo, quando costui svilupperà le sue potenzialità di percezioni più sottili, allora inizierà a udire quella sinfonia grandiosa che riecheggia attraverso gli spazi, da un capo all’altro dell’Universo, e comprenderà il senso profondo della vita. La Musica risveglia nella nostra anima, il ricordo della Patria celeste, la nostalgia del Paradiso perduto. È uno dei mezzi più potenti, più potente ancora della pittura o della danza, perché è immediato e istantaneo. Ed è in un istante che tramite la Musica ricordiamo che veniamo dal Cielo e che al Cielo dovremmo tornare.

Everything in Nature sings and vibrates; all creatures emit vibrations which are diffused around them in the form of musical waves. This is why it is true to say that everything in Nature is Music. There is Music in a rushing stream, in the murmur of a spring, in the patter of rain drop, in the roar of a cataract and the ceaseless ebb and flow of the waves of the ocean. There is Music in the voice of the wind, in the rustling of leaves and the twittering of birds. And the Music of Nature constantly arouses and stimulates the musical sentiment in man, kindling in him the desire to express himself through the medium of a musical instrument or through song. When man feels the need to communicate his feelings and emotions, it is to Music that he turns most spontaneously. When he wants to express his deepest religious sentiments, he turns to Music; all his joys and sorrows, his love and every profound experience is expressed in Music. Music is the breathing of man’s soul and consciousness. It is through Music that the soul manifests itself in the world. When man’s higher consciousness is awakened, when he develops his capacity to perceive the subtler realities, he will begin to hear the great and glorious symphony that reverberates throughout space from one and of the universe to the other, and he will comprehend the deepest meaning of life. Music awakens in our souls memories of the heavenly home from which we came and a yearning from the lost Paradise, it is one of the most powerful mediums, far more powerful then painting or dance, because it is so immediate, so instantaneous. In a flash one remembers that one has come from Heaven and that it is to Heaven that one must one day return.
